MIDI RECREATIONS

CRAIG WENTWORTH is hobbyist musician based in British Columbia, Canada. A self proclaimed "Technical Composer", Craig focuses most of his musical time on MIDI recreations of his favorite film scores.

Craig was first exposed to computer-based music as a child, with a cracked copy of Steinberg's Cubase software running on an Atari 1040ST. Since then, he has used the combination of music and computers to study the art of composition, orchestration and music production, inspired by the work of technical and musical giants like the late James Horner, the inimitable John Williams, and the impossibly prolific Hans Zimmer and his RCP graduates.

WATCH, LISTEN, LEARN

Some forty years later, Craig established his YouTube Channel, where all of his recreations can be heard. He hopes that the videos and MIDI rolls available on the channel will serve as inspiration to other budding musicians and programmers just as the wealth of knowledge shared by the music community at large have helped him over the years.
